The film is an observational telling of a watchman in an apartment complex in Guwahati, Assam, India. It blends documentary to explore his alienation and raise the question of empathy vis-a-vis his occupation: its existence beyond what may be referred to as a linear time or the time occupied by the privileged. His time is interpreted as existing in an another time characterised by the banal quality of his job. The film attempts to do away with any narrative control where the subject (the spectator) too exercises a reciprocal gaze on the filmer: by becoming an observer to his own filming, the film's own privileged gaze is confronted.

Set in Charlottesville during the early 1990s, "Pride" follows an aspiring writer as she finalises stories for the latest issue of "Pride", a student run newspaper at the University of Virginia. Over a hectic two-day period, she puts the finishing touches on the upcoming issue. Despite the looming deadline, she moves with a calm confidence.

Other than the ocean, the rest of the planet was bathed in purple, which was due to the colour of the vegetation. The change in the sun’s radiation had probably caused the plants to evolve as they adapted to the new light.

In Les Portes d’Arcadie, we are at the heart of a reception center for asylum seekers. The director gives a voice to people persecuted because of their sexual orientation, in their country of origin. Already gone, but not yet in a new home, these displaced people are looking for themselves as much as they are looking for the words to describe what they have known and left behind. What awaits them? It is not certain. But at least they can hope to finally be (re) recognized for themselves. This crossing, as much as this quest for identity, is at the heart of this documentary.

Over the course of their sessions, what began as an artist-model relationship developed into something more. Now officially BFs (boyfriends), Wilfrid continues to draw Theo regularly and has somewhat effortlessly amassed hundreds of drawings that were brought together for an exhibition appropriately titled ‘Drawings of my BF’. As Wilfred studies Theo, and Theo returns his gaze, the two lovers discuss the romantic ideals and human realities of the sketcher-subject dynamic and the role that creating art together has played in their lasting connection.
