Redemption is a call to the Venezuelan military to rediscover their sacred oath: to protect their people. This short film captures the moral conflict faced by mid- and low-ranking military personnel when caught between loyalty to institutions corrupted by the regime and the duty to defend their people. Based on the testimonies of dozens of victims, Redemption shows the internal struggle of those who, disillusioned, seek redemption by taking the right side of history. It is a reflection of the desire for justice and freedom of an oppressed people, who cry out for the support of those sworn to protect them.
