A prison bus with over a dozen criminals on board has an accident and rams another car, in which Dr. Douglas Madsen was on his way home. Most of the prisoners die. Four of them survive, one of them severely injured. After having killed all the guards, they head for the woods. They take Dr. Douglas Madsen hostage. Suddenly a huge house appears in the middle of the woods. The leader of the group, Arthur, emphasizes that he will kill Douglas and every single member of the "family" if his wounded brother would die. Meanwhile some members of the family show strange behavior, and very soon mayhem breaks loose.

Mack is a former soldier who, after the war, moved to a town with a nuclear power plant, where nearly everybody works. Life is peaceful for him there, until a gang of mercenaries led by Ron storm the reactor and take everybody hostage, including a group of children on a school trip. In 2005, Mikhail Khodorkovsky was found guilty of economic crimes and sentenced to 11 years in prison. But this film is not about the most famous political prisoner. This is the reaction of the population of our country to the arrest of Khodorkovsky, recorded conversations on the streets of different cities with the first passers-by. The people's ruthlessness, the desire for blood, the joyful readiness to execute lynching themselves, saving the fatherland, over all who are smarter, richer, freer, over Jews and people of a different mentality – this is a frighteningly objective assessment of us, residents of sovereign Russia, a country whose future may never come.

Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Molten Salt Reactor Experiment was designed to assess the viability of liquid fuel reactor technologies for use in commercial power generation. It operated from January 1965 through December 1969, logging more than 13,000 hours at full power during its four-year run. The MSRE was designated a nuclear historic landmark in 1994.

Most of the images of the video surpass, as well as imitate daily life experience absurdly. The film is to analyze and oppose evil by the way of using the power of evil inside human nature. Chain Reaction is an allegory of evil but without the function of salvation like the other allegories.
