The show documents the simplistic lifestyle of living away from the bustling city centers. Each season takes place in a different rural part of China. The cast members are only provided with the basic life necessities and have to take care of everything else such as cooking their own meals and building their own furniture. To "buy" different cooking ingredients and other tools, they have to complete certain tasks assigned by the production crew, such as planting and harvesting crops. Different guests join the cast in each episode and help out with the daily chores. The goal of the program is to bring the audience along on a slower pace of life and to illustrate the joys of a simple lifestyle.

A docu-drama narrated by Jung Bo Suk that tells of the people and history of Myeongdong between 1953-1960, when it was at its height as the cultural centre of the country. It captures both the beauty and incredible tragedy that surrounded that period, with its many artistic innovations as well as the blood, sweat and tears of the people in the years following the Korean War.

But later he wants to be Lan's real lover but she's not ready to be anyone's wife yet. They bicker a lot but they're also lovey dovey too.

She comes from a poor family and will do almost anything to rise up but her heart is pure. She doesn't steal, lie, or cheat others out of their rightful earnings. Her best friend is played by Sammie. Sammie works on Tupe and Tian's farm. She brings in Krachao to help her as a worker and along the way they befall many schemes from outsiders who want to destroy the farm or destroy Krachao's good reputation. Sammie is a tomboy. She doesn't spend a lot of time fixing herself and when one of the twin goads her on, she changes herself to become beautiful.
