Overview

Along with Boku-chan and Richard, they carry their plans using fantastic teamwork.

Gossip magazine journalist Tong Leung-sing has unfortunately lost his left ear in a traffic accident. He gains mystical rat power after undergoing transplant surgery. Leung-sing keeps creating fake news just to benefit himself. He clashes with righteous policewoman Sung Hoi-yan, causing both of them to lose their jobs. With the support of her uncle Ming Kwan-ngai, Hoi-yan becomes a private investigator. Leung-sing is forced to help Hoi-yan with her investigation activities as Hoi-yan catches him using his mystical power to peep at goddess Ming Cheuk-kei. Gold digger Tong Mei-fun is cruelly harassed as rich clan heir Tsui Tsun-wai and she become foes. Mei-fun forgives Tsun-wai and offers to help him as Tsun-wai gets into a difficult situation. Leung-sing becomes increasingly arrogant as he uses to his mystical power to solve cases. Meanwhile, Hoi-yan shockingly finds out Kwan-ngai’s real character. Leung-sing faces the danger of exhausting his mystical power and becoming a rat as he helps Hoi-yan.

A new building complex is built in Chinatown and Bong Sam Bong opens his Chinese restaurant called “Gahwamansasung” there with a big splash. But Bong’s luck does not last long after he had worked so hard from the bottom to finally open his own restaurant. His married children all get divorced and now his own wife is demanding a divorce, too. This show follows the drama-filled lives of Mr. Bong’s family as they run “Gahwamansasung,” the largest Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. The family overcomes a string of crises and through understanding, they resolve their differences and lingering family issues. Despite their fighting, they still stay tight as a family unit and will sit down together for a bowl of Chinese noodles for family dinners with lots of love and laughter.

In commemoration of WOWOW's 30th anniversary, Suzuki Matsuo, the artistic director of Bunkamura Theatre Cocoon in Tokyo and the leader of Otona Keikaku, will write, direct, and perform in an original omnibus comedy drama. Each episode is 30 minutes long and is performed with a single actress. The four actresses who will be invited into the world of "laughter" created by Matsuo, who has created numerous works as a master of comedy, are Yo Yoshida, Mikako Tabe, Kumiko Aso, and Haru Kuroki.

Lucan is a TV Drama which aired on ABC from 1977 to 1978, starring Kevin Brophy, John Randolph, and Don Gordon. A 20-year old man who spent the first 10 years of his life running wild in the forest after being raised by wolves, Lucan is taken to a research institute and taught the ways of human society. He is befriended by a kind research doctor whom he bonded with during his journey to civilization. Lucan's continued freedom at the research center is put in peril once his doctor friend and mentor is hurt. Unable to insure Lucan's well being at the institute, his friend encourages him to strike out on his own in search of his identity. The short-lived TV series chronicled the encounters, challenges, and intrigues Lucan faced interacting with people using his new learned social graces and old Wolfen instincts. Lucan did have special Wolfen skills that were invoked when he was made very angry. When upset to the point of violence his eyes glowed amber. He also had heightened senses of smell and hearing. In a few episodes he was able to call on his old wolf family/pack for help. This series was based on a 1977 made-for-TV movie of the same name directed by David Greene.
