The premise of the series revolves around the daily lives of different couples of all ages from 20 to 65, but who are not connected to each other. Each couple has their own space where they live, while the story of each couple in each episode is not connected to the stories of the other couples.
The mystery of this most divine comedy will begin to unravel with little evidence, many suspects and countless hilarious situations.
Undercover Boss is a British reality television series. Each episode depicts a person who has a high management position at a major business, deciding to become undercover as an entry-level employee to discover the faults in the company. The first series, consisting of two episodes was aired in 2009 followed by a second series consisting of six episodes one year later. This original series sparked the Undercover Boss franchise. Localised versions of the show format are currently being produced in the United States, Australia, Germany and Canada and soon to be in Denmark, Spain, Turkey, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands and Israel.
The nihilistic Helga is ready to end her life. However, finding the "perfect" way to commit suicide turns out to be no easy task. Therefore, Helga persuades Ingrid to hook her up with the underground suicide pills which promise to be the loveliest way to die - the sleeping beauty kind of way. Ingrid agrees to provide her with the pills on one condition: For each pill, Helga must do Ingrid a favor. This throws Helga into a series of tasks, out of her comfort zone and into new friendships.
Loki, the Norse god of mischief, has been exiled to the human world for what was apparently was a bad joke. Along with being exiled, he’s forced to take the form of a child. He’s told the only way he can get back to the world of the gods is if he can collect auras of evil that take over human hearts, and so to do this he runs a detective agency. Loki is soon joined by a human girl named Mayura who is a maniac for mysteries, and she soon helps out in her own way. However, soon other Norse gods begin to appear, and most have the intent to assassinate Loki for reasons unclear.
Yui Saizo is a single, 29 year old woman and works in the crime laboratory at the Takanashi Police Station as a forensics examiner. She does her job well, due to her excellent memory and analytical mind. She prioritizes efficiency at her work. She also eschews the old-fashioned and traditional ways at the police station, like, working overtime or being liked by colleagues. She does have two close female colleagues at the police station. They are Masumi Kira and Iori Motoyama. Masumi Kira works as a physician in the medical office and Iori Motoyama works in the traffic department. Every Friday night, these 3 women gather at an izakaya pub and chat about everything including work and relationships. One Friday night, during the course of their normal conversation, they talk about a case that detectives at the police station are having trouble solving. Since then, they talk about difficult cases and try to solve the cases using their respective talents.
Sir Bernard's Stately Homes was a series of British TV comedy series first shown in 1998 on BBC Two and later re-run on Play UK. Only six 10 minute programmes were produced, all written by and starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams. It bore many similarities to the more well-known Rock Profile. The series was directed by Edgar Wright, one of the creative minds behind Asylum, Spaced, Shaun of the Dead, and Hot Fuzz, and produced by Myfanwy Moore, who would become the producer of Little Britain. The central character was Bernard Chumley, played by Matt Lucas, who was already a regular stand-up character of Lucas's and would go on to be a fixture of Little Britain.
