The other tenants believe the tenant killed himself after being hounded by Sim Deok-Su. Sim Deok-Su then meets former detective Park Pyeong-Dal (Kim Jin-Tae). Park Pyeong-Dal tells Sim Deok-Su that the death of his tenant was not by suicide, but in fact a murder by a serial killer. The serial killer operated in the neighborhood thirty years ago.
