Long Distance is a romantic comedy that explores the complications of long distance relationships in the digital age. Comedystreet is a German entertainment show created by and starring comedian Simon Gosejohann. The show follows a hidden camera format. Gosejohann takes different roles with the intent of shocking passersby. Many sketches are filmed in North Rhine-Westphalia, especially in the Ruhr area and the cities of Dortmund and Essen. The show is sometimes filmed in Rhine-Ruhr in cities such as Düsseldorf. Other common locations are the islands of Sylt and Norderney. Some skits are also shot in foreign cities such as Paris and Prague. Gosejohann is recorded by a hidden camera, in a similar vein to British comedy series Trigger Happy TV and World Shut Your Mouth by Dom Joly. Simon's brother Thilo is responsible for the filming. Comedystreet premiered on 2 September 2002 on German TV station ProSieben. Due to the show's ratings, a fifth season was confirmed. In October 2010, the show entered syndication on Comedy Central. The crew consists of the two brothers and a director. The director manages the legal issues and obtains the broadcast licenses and the procedures. All passersby are informed and asked for written permission before their segment is included.

Bostock's Cup was a one-off British television comedy drama about a football team which appeared on ITV on the eve of the 1999 European Cup final. It was written by Chris England, directed by Marcus Mortimer and produced by Mark Robson. It starred Tim Healy as the club's manager, Neil Pearson as a veteran sportscaster, and Nick Hancock as his upstart rival. The film featured innovative use of old footage of seventies football matches to recreate the era. It was aired on 25 May 1999.

Keishichou Nasi Goren ka (ja)

25-year-old Kazahaya Kyoko is appointed to head an investigative division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, called the Nasi Goreng Division. She is an unconventional division head who believes that an entire investigation can be done in a room and completely rejects the “Showa” concept of legwork. Although Kyoko practically never leaves her room for an investigation, she is able to solve many difficult cases with her remarkable insight and deductive powers. Then things begin with the appearance of the middle-aged Ishinabe Kanta who has finally fulfilled his long-cherished dream to become a detective with his assignment to the Nasi Goreng Division. Ishinabe is full of enthusiasm but even though he appeals to Kyoko about his strength for legwork, she cuts him off and dismisses hot-blooded idiots as unnecessary.

Protégé is a Philippine over-all talent competition airing on GMA Network. The program seeks to discover new celebrities in the country through a series of nationwide auditions. The Filipino public votes for the outcomes of the later stages through text voting and half of the results are from the judges. The judges give critiques not only of the contestants performances depending but also to their respective mentors on the challenges that are being given to them. The result reveals right after the performance. The first two results nights during season 1 were shown one hour after the performance of the finalists. The judges, on the other hand, are happy that their opinions matter in this contest, since the results do not depend solely on text votes. Protégé sets quite a difference in the usual reality television series as it has a different opening billboard every week; and also the first Philippine television show to have a webisode. The current winners of the show are Jeric Gonzales and Thea Tolentino, who are both from Calamba, Laguna. Jolina Magdangal and Gina Alajar, the mentors of Gonzales and Tolentino, respectively, also won. They were proclaimed as the winners on October 21, 2012.
