Christmas is approaching and the chief of police in the town of Valleby intends to put on a Christmas play in memory of his parents, but a lot of crime gets in the way. He therefore enlists the help of two young detectives, Lasse and Maja. Lasse and Maja have their own detective agency that solves crimes. When the orchestra learns that the police chief has not gathered enough actors, they become increasingly suspicious of his amateurish methods.

After its cancellation, MTV2 premiered a replacement show called Subterranean. A similar but separate VH1 Classic program, VH1 Classic 120 Minutes, plays many classic alternative videos that were regularly seen on 120 Minutes in its heyday. 120 Minutes returned as a monthly series on MTV2 on July 30, 2011, with Matt Pinfield as host.

The Pet Psychic is an hour-long television program that was broadcast on the Animal Planet network in the United States. The show was created by Yehuda Goldman and co-created by Todd Thompson, and senior broadcast executive Todd Mason, who also served as the shows Executive Producer. The program premiered on June 3, 2002 and featured Sonya Fitzpatrick as a psychic who claimed she could communicate with various animals including audience members' departed pets. Subject animals included the normal cats and dogs as well as horses, various birds and farm animals. The program was scheduled on Monday evenings beginning at 8:00PM Eastern/7:00PM Central. The last regular airing of the program was on January 1, 2003. Animal Planet schedules no further broadcasts.

Book TV is the name given to weekend programming on the American cable network C-SPAN2 airing from 8 a.m. Eastern Time Saturday morning to 8 a.m. Eastern Time Monday morning each week. The 48 hour block of programming is focused on non-fiction books and authors, featuring programs in the format of interviews with authors as well as live coverage of book events from around the country. Book TV debuted on C-SPAN2 on September 12, 1998. While the primary mission of C-SPAN2 is live coverage of the United States Senate, Book TV programs are sometimes also scheduled to air during the week when the Senate is not in session.
