While growing up, Chi Zhen (Ronald Zhai) learns all the necessary skills and tricks to survive in a harsh world. When he starts working as a police officer, he manages to solve several big cases in a few years time only and is thus appointed as the chief of his police station. Four years later, the released Chi Zhen is on his way to become a successful businessman while Lu Li is trying to find hints in a mysterious case.
