Poland gained its own version of Sesame Street in 1996 on TVP2. It was one of the few countries in Europe that did not translate the famous Sesame Street songs. This version does a lot with their own traditional music. The Muppets remain the main attraction, but now they speak Polish, have Polish names, and interact with actors playing Polish characters, including a grandfather whose bushy mustache makes him look like Poland's anti-communist hero and former president, Lech Walesa. Actor Andrzej Buszewicz was chosen for the role by children who were shown a group of photographs and picked his face as the most grandfatherly. "It turned out that was the average grandfather the children selected", said Andrzej Kostenko, who shot the 52-episode series. The series had its debut in October, just after a version appeared in Russia in the Russian language. Before that, Polish children had only known the American version of Sesame Street with a man doing a voice-over and reading all the parts in Polish. Now, it's all Polish, from the dubbed dialogue to the Polish family that lives on the make-believe "Sezamkowa" Street.

The show introduces viewers to exotic locations around the world where celebrities must work together in order to complete missions and survive. The cast celebrities travel to less habituated, natural places to survive on their own and experience life with local tribes and people. In each location, the guests are tasked to hunt and prepare their meals and also create shelter for the tribe. They sometimes confronted by many difficult challenges. Where will the tribe visit? Channel 4's Comedy Gala is a British stand-up comedy benefit show organised Channel 4 in aid of Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. The gig is filmed live at the O2 Arena in London, and then broadcast later by Channel 4. An inaugural gala was held in 2010, while a second gala was held in 2011. A third Gala aired in May 2012. Thumb Wrestling Federation is an American children's live-action television series and is a part of TMi on BBC Two, BBC1 and the CBBC channel in the United Kingdom. It was previously shown on Cartoon Network and Kids' WB in the United States. TWF currently airs weekdays at 4:55pm on Cartoon Network Philippines, with half-hour recap editions Saturdays at 11:30am. The program's creator is Larry Schwarz of Animation Collective. The show centers around two rival thumb wrestling teams in the style of professional wrestling, including colorful characters and over-the-top emotions and antics. The protagonists, the Dexteras, wrestle against their rivals, the Sinistras, in the quest to win the coveted TWF title. The wrestling bouts are hosted by two thumb commentators, Dick Thompson and retired TWF wrestler Colonel Cossack. TWF originated as a television series before being licensed for toys, apparel, and collectibles.

Its title, which literally means "bird" in Arabic, is the main protagonist's "good luck bird" – his late grandfather believed that its arrival symbolized a positive turn of events. Hot had already started working on two additional seasons even before the television pilot was aired. Season two began airing on October 17, 2011. Savyon and Amir sold the format to John Wells in October 2011. The adaptation, named "Hard Up", will air on FOX.
