Matt (Matt Farley) has recently been elected mayor of Thomasville, a small New England town. Along with his assistant Charlie (Charlie Roxburgh), Matt has caused quite a stir by making radical proposals, such as the banishment of motorized vehicles and the construction of an underground pedestrian walkway. When he announces plans to develop a vast wilderness tract known as Cruben Country, Matt angers some of the city’s most powerful residents. Despite this stressful situation, Matt does his best to nurture a budding relationship with Melanie, a local newspaper reporter. With the covert Druids scheming against them, Matt and Charlie are about to find out that they not only have to fight for their political opinions, they also have to fight for their lives!

A wild and wacky no-budget comedy, Sammy was shot on DV and completed in 2002. The movie was filmed primarily in Manchester, New Hampshire, with some scenes also filmed in Connecticut.

In this farcical dark comedy/melodrama, Lena manages to lose her place at college by virtue of throwing a minor hissy-fit when she catches her erstwhile boyfriend in bed with another girl. Instead of penalizing the boy for his behavior, Lena gets stuck with a court appearance and must pay a small fine, in addition to losing a boyfriend, her college career, and an apartment. Lena belongs to a film club which occasionally hands out awards, and the membership of it decides to send her into the Russian hinterlands to hand out an award to an obscure filmmaker. Throughout the film, Lena has been associated with a bizarre con man named Stepanych who, when his cons fall through, comes to her in the distant town she has gone to seeking her help in committing suicide.

The Rent Jumpers(en)

The plot is driven by the confusion that results when two pairs of trousers are mixed up. One pair is owned by the landlord of an apartment building and the other by one of his lodgers. The lodger also has a wallet that contains rent money except when it doesn't, and the wallet passes from one pair of trousers to the other at unexpected moments. But neither the landlord nor the owner of the wallet are the central figures here, for The Rent Jumpers is primarily a love story between the landlord's daughter, played by the ever popular Mae Busch, and the lodger's roommate, young Charley Chase.
