Music City News was founded in 1963, by country music singer Faron Young. In 1967, the publication began to confer annual awards; in 1978, it began televising them, with the inclusion of artist performances. These awards were not decided by a secretive committee or by an "association," but by fan nominations. Each installment of the Country Legends Live series highlights performances from particular annual awards shows. Country Legends Live, Vol. 3 offers a "best of" the 1984, 1985 and 1986 Music City News Awards Shows. Featured artists in this installment include The Statler Brothers, Larry Gatlin, Sylvia, the Oak Ridge Boys, Loretta Lynn, Janie Fricke, Lee Greenwood, The Judds, Marie Osmond & Dan Seals, Conway Twitty, Ricky Skaggs, Jim Varney and Reba McEntire.

I liked Kenny when he was with the First Edition. So when I heard that the First Edition appeared on this DVD I decided to check it out. I absolutely love it. There are clips from his earlier career right up to the present. There are people like Lionel Ritchie and Mickey Jones giving commentary. There are a few First Edition Clips and his duets with the ladies like Dolly Parton and Sheena Easton.

Dev does get employment at Charlie's Disco, where he meets with Maya and falls in love with her. When Charlie's Disco's competitor, Rana, finds out about Dev, he wants to hire Dev, but Dev decides to continue to work with Charlie's Disco, as a result Dev and Charlie get a beating by Rana's men, and Dev is unable to sing. After recuperating, Dev is devastated to find out that Maya and Shiv Kumar are in love with each other. What impact will this have on Dev and his brother on one hand, and what of his career in music?
