Sensuously dark and foreboding, Az Iz rouses an ancient and atavistic trance. – Kathleen Brennan-Waits In Az Iz, Bromberg builds what might be considered a jazz opera – it's all saxophone riffs, repetition and fragments, but swells to epic proportions, essaying notions of origins and archetypes. The deepest blues highlight the sky behind three people in the mountains, and later, black-and-white images of twisted and torqued trees resonate with all the mystical glory of Being. Az Iz, with its sense of grandeur and beauty, is downright breathtaking, and the effect is sublime. – Holly Willis, IFilm
In the context of the World Aids Day on the 1st December 1994, the French Ministry of Defence commissioned the producer Raymond DEPARDON to make a film to show to all new French military recruits called up for their national service, in which they gave their 'personal' views on the AIDS (Sida) problem. Each year about 240.000 young men are called to do their military service in the French Armed Forces. They remain in bases both in France and in French overseas territories, the film will be projected throughout these multiple installations. The 'on camera" interviews by Depardon were authorised without any form of restriction by the military authorities, selecting a scattering of young men from all walks of life who will spend 10 months under the flag. They were each free to give their own personal opinions related to the Aids problem, without any form of censorship.

Kumud, Pooja, and Atul had been inseparable since their early days in the film industry. Together, they had weathered the highs and lows of creative life, becoming not just collaborators but lifelong friends. Over the years, their shared passion for cinema blossomed into something extraordinary. One evening, after a long discussion over coffee, they decided it was time to honor their shared journey-and the industry that had given them so much. Thus, the Kumud Entertainment Film Awards were born. The awards were unlike any other. They aimed to recognize talent across the industry, celebrating everyone from the best actor and actress to the finest writer and director. The trio poured their hearts into organizing the event, determined to make it an evening to remember. The big day arrived, and the venue sparkled with golden lights, setting the stage for a magical night.
Dare are – without a doubt - one of the best UK AOR bands ever. Since their classic debut album “Out Of The Silence” (A&M, 1988), a number of other studio albums followed, but fans from all over the world kept on asking for a live recording. On the occasion of the Munich Deep Impact open air festival of last year, the band’s current label MTM Music thought the time was finally ripe for such a recording. The result is not only a CD but also a DVD, both called “The Power Of Nature”. That very day in Munich the rain poured down, but the fans couldn’t care less. Darren Wharton and his band members were on stage and the only thing that mattered was the intensity of the songs. No one better knows how to write a decent song than Darren and as to the audience: it was all meat and drink to them. As to the sound of this live album, I have to admit that I feared the worst, but rest assured: the sound/production is surprisingly good.
