Jake Russel, Dawn Sullivan, James Anderson, and David Kurtis meet each other in a Boulder Point city park one summer afternoon. Shortly after starting a fight with the others, James discovers a hidden staircase leading to an ancient cave. A hidden orb transforms the teenagers into mythical creatures and before long, U.N.I.T. investigators led by Randall Stephens track them down.
