South Shields born animator Sheila Graber takes a wry look at the ups and downs of women’s quest for emancipation. Along the way, we meet some of the North East’s true pioneers – Northumbrian Jacobite heroine Dorothy Forster, gutsy Grace Darling, Labour class warrior and Jarrow crusader, Ellen Wilkinson, and the militant suffragette, Connie Lewcock. The title is the message, which subverts a popular Geordie chant: ‘Get a move on lasses!’

Johanna has fled Nazi Germany to visit a friend in Finland, and from there she continues on to her friend's family's estate. Once at the estate, Johanna passionately argues with her friend's pro-Nazi brother and at the same time, falls for the second, good-looking brother who shares her own anti-fascist feelings. The two are soon engaged in an active sexual relationship that continues as they travel north to an Arctic port.

Much like the infamous match between Bret Hart and Tom Magee, a piece of PROGRESS history has recently been uncovered. The former Progress announcer, Jimmy Barnett, has been sharing his memories of a show from May 26th, 1988. Last year he was kind enough to offer his recollections of a very early PROGRESS from way back in May of 1978 (PROGRESS even found the footage in their vault), and it's a rare treat to get details of another historical show from a man on the inside.
