Ahmed and Mohan Kumar Saxena are petty thieves, and con-men. They career is spent as false witnesses near the Bombay courts, where they get paid a set sum of rupees for false depositions. This changes when they meet and are influenced by Kabir Das, and decide to go straight. They find that it's virtually impossible to earn a living as honest citizens. Then Kabir Das is arrested and imprisoned by a murder he claims he did not commit, and the duo promise to help him, and find out who the real killer is, but they themselves end up getting in trouble.

Delhi-based Inspector Jay is reprimanded after having an affair with Pooja, the daughter of a politician, and transferred to Bandra, Mumbai along with his colleague, Aditya. After about three years both are assigned the task of investigating the homicide of a popular musician, Anirudh Roy. Both conclude that there are three suspects with motives, namely Anirudh's wife, Tanya Singhania; his mistresses/girlfriends, Priya Malhotra, and Sonia Pillai. As the investigation progresses, an insurance investigator, Rahul Awasthi, also gets involved as there is an insurance policy of about Rs.80 Crores left to the beneficiary. The duo will have their hands full in deducing who the killer was.

The film follows three young men as they are drawn into lives of crime. Nick (Crowley) uses his entry-level corporate job to commit credit card fraud and deals drugs on the side. Gentrification forces Nick's family to move out of their home in the Mission District into Hunter's Point where they are harassed by the V-Dubs. K-Luv's side business of selling bootleg compact discs leads him to enlist Nick's help to bootleg CDs and to negotiate a truce with Lincoln. Lincoln conducts an affair with his boss' daughter Angela (Carpio), a Stanford student engaged to a medical student classmate.
