The story is about Thilakan and his two adopted sons, one of them blind, Unni (Sreenivasan), and the other one deaf, Balan (Mukesh). The story takes a turn when the sons marry and their in-laws try to steal the family money. Krishnankutty (Jagathy) is the clever but honest caretaker for the deaf and blind siblings who is constantly at odds with their in-laws. The father (Thilakan), carries the burden of sorting things out.

George Kutty is a hard working student, who graduated with top rank in college as an engineer. His family which was once rich is burdened in debt. His father meets with Chandi a marriage broker who proposes a match for Georgekutty with a rich family, but they would have to lie a little about their economic status. George Kutty resists first, but pressure from his dad who sees the marriage as a way to get money to payback the family debts, he agrees. Unfortunately the Itichen finds out the truth about the family and confronts them. He makes Georgekutty and his family agrees to certain terms for the wedding to take place including that Georgekutty and his wife have to stay in their house with them. After the wedding Georgekutty sees that he and visiting family and friends are disrespected and that he is controlled and held like a prisoner at Itechan's house. Georgekutty comes up with a plan to get back at his father in law which forms rest of the movie.

Prem, Raj, Priya, and Deepak were inseparable friends, bound by years of laughter and memories. However, beneath their friendship, unspoken feelings lingered. Raj was deeply in love with Priya and hoped to confess his feelings, believing she felt the same. One evening, Raj finally gathered the courage to tell Priya how he felt. She listened quietly, her eyes full of emotion, and then gently said, "Raj, I care for you deeply, but my heart belongs to someone else." Raj was heartbroken but asked, "Who is it?" Priya hesitated before admitting, "It's Deepak." Deepak, who had no idea of Priya's feelings, was stunned when Raj revealed the truth to him. Prem, ever the peacemaker, stepped in to remind them that love was never meant to break bonds but to strengthen them. In the end, Tere Liye became a story not just about romantic love but about the love that keeps friendships alive through honesty, understanding, and acceptance.

This documentary is about the Afghan cameleer who came to Australia more than a century ago, and travelled across some of the harshest parts of the country. The film explores the historic relationship between the desert and Afghani immigrants in Aboriginal Australia by looking at the role they played in the development of the country and how they helped to set up the railway lines, overland Telegraph line and provided supplies to remote mission stations and farms. By the mid–1800s, exploration in Australia was at its peak with expeditions setting out almost monthly. The race to map the continent, locate natural resources or find new places to settle moved away from the coast and further into the inhospitable heart of Australia. It was soon obvious that the traditional horses and wagons used for such expeditions were not suitable in this strange and foreign land.
