The stilled narrative suggests themes such as generalized surveillance, the metamorphosis of the political regime only on the surface in post-communism, the impossibility of escaping from a system – favorite themes of the 90s. Together, they form a close friendship until the arrival of Benson Thacker who has managed to pilot his small boat into the city's harbor. At this point, tensions rise between the three, particularly between Thacker, who is white, and Burton, who is black.

What words come to mind when you think of Liquid Television? Perhaps smart.. funny.. dramatic... maybe even weird. Liquid Television was THE show for "up-and-coming" animators to show what they got. Who said that cartoons had to be drawn by hand? This show combined computer animation, drawings by hand, paper cut-outs, and even live action to make something entertaining for the viewers
