His arrival at Celtic Park in 1997 turned the club's fortunes around and helped Celtic become a formidable team in the Scottish Premiership, taking the title from arch rivals Ranger's grasp in 1999. Larsson's goals put Celtic back on course for another Premiership success, under new manager Martin O'Neill and with the help of new signing Chris Sutton from Chelsea, making Larsson the new hero at Celtic Park.
