Since then, Sonic has been running through countless zones, beating badniks, and saving the world with the help of his friends. On the island of Hemay, Iceland, a group of fishermen are about to leave on a new expedition to hunt for fish. The crew members try to save themselves but only one of them, young Gulli, succeeds in the desperate endeavor, swimming for hours alone in the frigid North Atlantic, with only companions the seagulls that flutter in the sky and to whom the castaway confides his prayers.

Meanwhile, the cop she pays off wants an arrest to make it look like he's doing his job, but Hazel doesn't want to sacrifice any of her "associates". The sleazy side of life is explored in this delightfully dark and deadpan film.

Filmed April 12, 2003 at a benefit concert held at and for The Anthology Film Archives, the international center for the preservation, study, and exhibition of avant-garde and independent cinema. In addition to screening films for the public, AFA houses a film museum, research library and art gallery. The event, which raised money for the Archives and celebrated the life and work of avant-garde film maker Stan Brakhage, featured Sonic Youth providing an improvised instrumental collaboration with silent Brakhage’s films. The band performed with drummer/percussionist Tim Barnes (Essex Green, Jukeboxer, Silver Jews).
