It's snowing and the thermometer is dropping well below freezing. Felix is cold. In his house a statue puts on a blanket, an alarm clock puts gloves on its hands, and a man in a painting puts on a hat and scarf. Another cat is shivering in the bath - the water has turned to an ice block. There's no wood for the stove. Felix tries to cut a tree trunk but it turns out to be an elephants trunk.

The escort vessel with the harpoon searches for whales. The sailor on the observation mast points to a whale. The whale is hit with the harpoon. The prey is pulled into the main ship with winches, where it is cut up and processed immediately.

This film is focused on elderly women spending their last years of life in a nursing home in Krakow. The discreet heroine of the film is an elderly lady whose check-in is recorded by the camera. Thanks to this, we gain access to intimate situations, for example a sudden acceleration of the heartbeat in the middle of the night. The camera follows the women around the clock, starting from their morning prayer.
