Three distinct tales unfold in the bustling city of Tokyo. Merde, a bizarre sewer-dweller, emerges from a manhole and begins terrorizing pedestrians. After his arrest, he stands trial and lashes out at a hostile courtroom. A man who has resigned himself to a life of solitude reconsiders after meeting a charming pizza delivery woman. And finally, a happy young couple find themselves undergoing a series of frightening metamorphoses.

The anthology consists of 4 short feature films: "Postscriptum", "His Father", "The Gift" and "The Black Garden".

No Entrance(cs)

Two stories from the lives of border guards. In the story "The Pursuit", an experienced border guard and his young and inexperienced colleague follow the tracks of ski boots in a snowstorm. The second story, Wandering, is about a frontiersman whose wife wants to go inland with their child.

Three Times(zh)

In three separate segments, set respectively in 1966, 1911, and 2005, three love stories unfold between three sets of characters, under three different periods of Taiwanese history and governance.

Bear friends Nedvěd and Miška embark on the craziest adventures together in order to fill their perpetually hungry bellies as easily as possible. You will see how these entertaining furry friends met, how they cook and taste truffles together, how they celebrate Christmas in the summer, which they sleep through every winter, and how they reconcile a bear quarrel. They even have a huge feast waiting for them, where bears from all over the world will arrive.

Tokyo Shutter Girl(ja)

The movie Tokyo Shutter Girl, based on the comic series by Kenichi Kiriki, consists of three separate works by three separate directors, each set in Tokyo. It is about three Japanese schoolgirls in a photo club.

The Black Decameron(it)

Five unrelated tales: (1) "The Ravishing Queen" / "La Reina Bella", in which the queen choses a king by devious endurance tests of the pretendants; (2) "The Punished Lovers", in which a fake blind husband is 'cured' after having the culprits banished from the tribe; (3) "The Old Prostitute" who manages to take revenge from all the village dignitaries who wrongfully condemned her brother; (4) "The Endless Search" that does not end until a hunter finds his perfect end-game; (5) "The Crazy Woman" whose illness was not exactly of the mind, but of an (almost) insatiable lust.

Rita and Crocodile(da)

Rita is a small and very determined girl who has a very hungry friend, Crocodile, who lives in the bathtub. Most probably, Crocodile only exists in Rita's imagination, but this is Rita's world and Crocodile is a real part of it.

All the Lonely People(en)

Spanning seven short stories - each taking place in a different city around the globe, “All the Lonely People” showcases a slice of life from various strangers while they try to face their regular, everyday problems. From New Zealand to New York city, the assortment of strangers deal with modern day anxieties that slowly spiral out of control.

This film combines four short films under the title Bits Of Life. The Bad Samaritan is taken from a story in Popular Magazine in which the son of a Chinese father and a white mother is sold into slavery by his father. The boy becomes a criminal and a cunning but cruel thief. The one time he stops to help a lady in distress he is thrown in jail. Wesley Barry is the young boy and Lon Chaney the grown-up criminal.

Rain(es)

Story of six interwoven narratives in Mexico City, exploring the human condition against intermittent rain. With each encounter, the characters experience a moment of absurdity, brightness, or strangeness that reveals their true selves.

Tales of Manhattan(en)

Ten screenwriters collaborated on this series of tales concerning the effect a tailcoat cursed by its tailor has on those who wear it. The video release features a W.C. Fields segment not included in the original theatrical release.

Ninth Life(en)

A predominantly non-verbal drama series exploring the interconnections of a group of young BIPOC creatives in London.

Three Nights of Love(it)

Omnibus film with individual segments directed by Renato Castellani, Luigi Comencini and Franco Rossi; all of them starring the radiant Catherine Spaak as "out of place" women longing for love, in a Sicillian village, a monastery, and a modern Italian urban setting, respectively.

Crossroad(ml)

Crossroad is a first -of-its-kind portmanteau movie celebrating womanhood and tells the story of ten women, facing ten different life situations and explores how they tackle it. The movie encompasses ten feature films of fifteen minutes each, with each featuring prominent female artists from Malayalam film industry as the protagonist and is directed by a prominent Malayalam filmmaker. The movie showcases the vibrant facet of each woman and tells the story from her perspective.
