    Drug-addicted punk musician Tara Herbener met the love of her life in India in 1996. When she overcame her addiction with Buddhism and Zen, she met the Tibetan lama Ngawang Gelek, who was living in exile there. He gave up his monk's vows for her sake and the two became a couple, moving back to Sandra's home country of Germany. Since then, the two very different people have found their modest happiness in an attic apartment in Berlin, in which their 3-year-old daughter Tara has played a not inconsiderable part.
