Qingming Festival is not only a solemn occasion for tomb-sweeping and honoring one’s ancestors, but also a joyful holiday when people get close to nature, go for spring outings, and enjoy the pleasures of springtime. In the future Hong Kong, the government still enforces strict epidemic prevention measures. Starting from 2026, the government will divide the 18 districts into separate zones, restricting residents’ freedom to move in and out.
