Unfinished Stories employs a structure familiar to Western indie cinema by following a set of seemingly random but interlocking episodes. Debut director Pourya Azarbayjani presents the tales of several women who spend much of the film alone on the streets of Tehran after dark – a particularly fraught place for unescorted women in a Muslim nation. The film's three primary stories each represents a different point in the cycles of courtship and childbirth. One young woman hopes to elope with her unseen fiance, but faces insurmountable problems when he doesn't show up. An older, married woman seeks to buy a pregnancy test, the results of which could dictate her marriage's fate. A new mother at a hospital resorts to drastic measures when a financial problem arises. Highschool in Less Than 54 Hours(en)

A story with and about high school students, which bears the imprint of the current reality of the problems faced by young people of the last generations: love, money, influence, drugs. The action unfolds on several levels, the characters, well defined, get into conflicts, find themselves in love and wake up in situations that sometimes seem desperate. The starting point is a crime whose perpetrator is initially unknown, but as the characters appear, they begin to reveal themselves, to interact and especially to act, the murderer always seems to be closer to being discovered. There is no lack of dramatic moments, suspense, humor, moralizing conclusions and, obviously, the completely unexpected end. A film that paints an intimate portrait of the young generation. The director manages to look with detachment but with a fine spirit of observation, without judging, however, drawing and transmitting consistent conclusions.

German retaliation expedition burned down the village of Radopolje and killed all the men. When first men appear in the village after the war, Kata Plecas believes they will renew the village. But these men die as well and the question if Radopolje will be the "village of black scarves" again remains.

Aderlaß is a youthful attempt to process the inheritance of the Vienna Actionists through the use of a super 8 camera. In front of the camera is a performance from Armin Schmickl Sebastiano (Peter Tcherkassky). Beginning with her childhood before the 1948 war, this compelling documentary takes us through the country's turbulent history, as seen through the eponymous heroine's eyes, and the perspectives of those around her. As Zahara grows, we experience the violent establishment of Israel, subsequent life under martial law (1948-1966), and the radical transformation of Palestinian society from a majority to a disenfranchised minority in their own homeland.
