Video collage with fragments of the correspondence between my parents before my birth. I tour the last work space in my father's life, and the current one of my mother. I try to intrude on the timeline of images and sounds. The places constructed in this piece are based on a collage-reading where one perceives the desire for encounter and the longing for the place of origin (Corrientes) while being in the capital of the country (Buenos Aires); and the work and economic situations of that moment, which govern the decisions to be in one space or another. I assemble memories to form correspondences between territories of work and territories of mischief and games; palpable and imagined places, our own and those of others.

This gets him in the bad books of Dharamraj, and he is subsequently arrested for killing his assistant, found guilty, and sentenced for seven years. Dharamraj then summons Aarti and openly accuses her of having an affair with the deceased assistant, and orders her to be taken out of this town, to the custody of Bombay Police. Years later, Vijay is released from prison, and is anxious to meet his wife and child. When he returns home, he finds that his wife and child are nowhere to be found. Upon inquiring, he learns that his wife was jailed for killing their child, and is now earning a living as a prostitute, and is currently the mistress of Member of Parliament, Charandas.

Inside a man sleeps, he awakes amidst flames and throws himself back on the bed. In comes a firefighter, hosing down the blaze. He carries out the victim, down a ladder to safety. Other firefighters enter the house to save belongings, and out comes one with a baby. The saved man rejoices, but it's not over yet.
