The inhabitants of a Spanish village gather for the visit of a death defying tightrope walker. He comes with his own attractive aura of danger and drama, and the crowd are not disappointed. Animated in a sketchy style on paper, this film powerfully uses the graphic freedom of this technique to select and embellish, to swoop and wander around the village. Austere sound effects and an Albeniz guitar piece are used to heighten this charmingly modest drama in which ordinary things – a hammer driving a nail, a flock of birds wheeling in the sky – are given their due.

Dick Spanner P.I.: The Case of the Missing Episode(en)

The opener (and only episode, later restored as a short) for an unfinished third series finds a group of detectives assembled in Paris, where they're bumped off in the manner of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None (aka Ten Little Indians). Copyrighted in 1988, but unreleased until 2014, when it surfaced on The Lost Worlds of Gerry Anderson DVD. It was later included as a bonus feature on the 2017 Dick Spanner DVD set.

A non-narrative and abstract adaptation of the mythological motif, the cosmic egg, telling a story with only sounds and drawings. It is said to be at the beginning of the cosmos and universe--from it hatched our beloved seas, earth, oxygen, sun, moon, ritual and spirit. Though the tale of the Cosmic Egg has been told in many cultures and civilizations from around the world, even on all five continents, ink on glass illustrates this dimly coloured adaptation, verging many ideas from different cultures, instead of holding true to only one, celebrating the human experience not as a singularity, but as a whole.

The collection of miniatures. The first is called "Glasses" and it deals with how a man with poor eyesight once ordered the glasses at his wife’s insistance. His sight came back to him, and with it the ability to see what dowdy and ugly his wife is and how uncomfortable their house is. In such a situation, he chose not to wear glasses. Thumbnails "Othello" and "Big and small" are also about the relationship between men and women.

In this experimental short film, Kristian Day collected artwork created by the public. He found the majority of the pieces at "Sharpie marker demonstration tables" and it took almost a year to collect the artwork. All pieces were created by chance with no prior thought. He originally intended on using the photos for a collage canvas piece, however after deciding that a short film would stand the test of time longer, he took individual shots of over 30 pieces. The drone music was created using a variety of simple sound generators & tapes that are being manipulated by delays, filters, and reverberation effects.
