The main characters of Shakespeare's masterpieces, heroes of the Greek and Roman eras, the main characters of Japanese manga... But there was one role he had never played. ...is himself. Before he departs, his editor begs to hear about his journey. Before long, his life story begins. Bloom plays out the fragments of her memories as she changes costumes in the colorful dressing room. As a young man, everyone expected a smooth road ahead. However, contrary to the bright smiles illuminated by the spotlight, these were days of blood, sweat, and tears. Fujiko has sneaked into Versailles, as has the gang of Lupin, Goemon, and Jigen - all with the intention of getting their hands on the necklace, which is valued at over 3 billion yen in today's money. But they bump into Inspector Zenigata. Lupin is the one who manages to foil Zenigata and grab the necklace. Yet the instant he lays hands on it, everyone is enveloped in a mysterious light. When they regain consciousness, they notice they have gone through a time slip to 1785, before the French Revolution when Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were around.

A large crowd of people, including Nekhlyudov's aunt Ivanovna and his friend Schonbock, have come out to bless the young couple. But news arrives at the party informing Nekhlyudov that the start of a trial in which he has been enlisted to serve as a juror has been moved forward. He leaves Korchagin's residence to fulfill his duty.
