The drama describes the age of the civil war through the eyes of Princess Go, who plays a significant part in establishing the age of peace that lasts over 200 years in Japan.

Puffin's Pla(i)ce is a British regional children's programme named after it's star, Oscar Puffin, that's broadcast on ITV Channel Television on weekend afternoons. The programme, one of the longest-running children's series to air on the ITV network, has been broadcast since 3 March 1963. Originally presented by Channel Television's team of continuity announcers, recent Puffin's Pla(i)ce presenters have included Stewart McDonald, Kevin Pamplin, Sam Palmano, Lucy Anderson and currently, Jenny Mullin. In September 2013 it was announced the show would no longer be broadcast on TV, but would move to an online format at the Channel Online website. The last TV edition was broadcast on 15th September 2013.

Dad is a BBC1 sitcom that ran for 13 episodes over two series and a Christmas special. Described by the BBC as a 'generation-gap comedy', it starred George Cole as Brian Hook, Kevin McNally as his son Alan Hook, and Toby Ross-Bryant as his son Vincent Hook and Julia Hills as his wife Beryl Hook. Written by Andrew Marshall, the title of each episode was a pun on the word 'Dad'. Most of the episodes involved Alan Hook getting frustrated by situations brought upon him by his father and son. For example, in 'Dadmestic', Vincent's mother allows him to host a house party, leaving Alan with no alternative but to spend the evening at his father's house. In the episode 'Habadadery', Brian comes down with a bout of illness, meaning that Alan has to look after him. Brian then takes Alan to 'Mr Nigel's shop', where Alan's middle-aged style crisis goes from bad to worse as he purchases an extremely bold Hawaiian shirt. The theme tune for the first series was the 1965 hit 'Tijuana Taxi' performed by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass. For the second series this was replaced with the song 'Go Daddy-O' by Californian swing revival band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

Cash in the Attic, also Cash in the Celebrity Attic, is a United Kingdom television show on the BBC. The show, made by Leopard Films, premièred in 2002 and has run for sixteen series; as of February 2010, the seventeenth series is currently in production, along with the fifth celebrity series. The programme's tagline is The show that helps you find hidden treasures in your home, and then sells them for you at auction. Now Cash in the Attic has also launched an online version of the TV show. This is an innovative site which allows the general public to upload items for online valuations by a team of experts from the show, and then people can proceed to sell their item through the site.
