Tujhe Dekhne Se Pehle tells the heartfelt journey of two friends, Vicky and Katrina, living in the United Kingdom. Over coffee and romantic conversations, their connection begins to deepen. Their day ends with a car ride to Birmingham, where they stay overnight at a cozy hotel. The next morning, they visit Brean Down, a scenic coastal area. The students Yoshkata and Petar share rooms and wartime privations in a poor man's street. Over a glass of vine, Yoshkata often talks about the stage life of genuine beauty. The student is unaware of the passion with which Vaska, the barmaid at the local pub, burns for him. Petar is a member of an antifascist combat unit. The pupil Katya loves him. Petar carries out a sabotage action and comes home wounded. Yoshkata manages to deceive the Germans who rush into their flat that they have been drinking and playing cards throughout the evening. He saves his friend. However, the secret agent notices the doctor's visits. When the police arrive to arrest Petar, Yoshkata tries to resist them and the agent shoots him dead. Petar goes underground. On the day of the liberation, all the residents of the poor man's street celebrate, and Katya and Petar happily reunited. Vaska is there, too, a baby in her arms, the fruit of her love with Yoshkata...

The documentary film Halli addresses body-related commentary and its impact on people's body image. Anonymous stories are set in a swimming hall, where we see a variety of body types. Finnish swimming hall culture respects body privacy. In the film, we follow stories from the women's locker room to the pool, highlighting the experiences of different generations and the body image challenges they face, reflecting the trauma passed down from one generation to the next.

Young master Ying Feng is kicked out of home by his father, a master of mystical magic cures, because the "leader of black religion" is out to kill his entire family. Honest and stout-hearted, Ying Feng punches three guys who want to screw pretty dancer Miss Fan. Fan gets sweet on Feng and he agrees to let her stay with him. The Fairy comes to town, touting his magic powers to cure the sick for anyone who'll pay his exorbitant fee. Ying Feng has some of the same talent, and cures a sick woman with no money and for no payment, thereby shaming The Fairy into both taking him on as a disciple and agreeing to charge less. Li Quan, the "leader of black religion", has not given up trying to find Ying Feng, but his search is greatly slowed down by his assistants being far more interested in screwing each other silly than revenge. Note - Both of the lead characters are actually called "Fung" in Cantonese, so I have used the Mandarin forms of their names, to distinguish them.

The people at the centre of this film are lawyers, civil servants, housewives, managing directors and mothers. They are also alcoholics. In her documentary, Carolin Schmitz explores the protagonists’ stories and their strategies for survival: the little tricks they employ in order to try and get through their daily lives – lives which become increasingly difficult to manage the stronger the addiction becomes. Their fear of losing control and being exposed as a drinker create their need to conform, but the protagonists can only cope with this pressure by increasing their alcohol intake.
