Pluto's Judgement Day(en)

Pluto chases a kitten through a window and right into Mickey's lap. Mickey scolds him, and goes off to wash the kitten. Pluto falls asleep in front of the fire, and dreams of a hell ruled by cats where he is put on trial for all his crimes against cats and, of course, found guilty.

Mickey's Elephant(en)

A friend shipped Mickey a baby elephant named Bobo as a playmate for Pluto. Pluto's first introduction is to Bobo's trunk, through a fence. He's not thrilled, and marches away. The playful Bobo grabs Pluto's tail and follows. Pluto's devil self tells him he's being replaced, and tells him to attack with red pepper.

The lion alternates between finding the food on the cage floor and reaching through the bars to swipe at the man, who stays alarmingly close to the beast. In the background are the large rocks and brick wall at the back of the lion's habitat.

Lucky, a homeless man living in the UK, faced daily struggles to survive. Each day, he would sit on the streets, relying on the kindness of strangers to get by. One day, a kind-hearted young woman named Jessica stopped and gave him 50p, along with a warm smile. Her small gesture gave Lucky a glimmer of hope, and he began to dream of a better life. The next day, as Lucky returned to the streets, a wealthy businessman named Mukesh passed by with his security guard, Mark. Feeling sorry for Lucky, Mukesh decided to help in an unexpected way. Since he had no cash on hand, he bought Lucky a lottery ticket instead. Lucky accepted it with gratitude, never expecting what was to come. The following day, Lucky visited the shop to check his ticket. To his shock, the shopkeeper announced that he had won the jackpot. The animation is rotoscoped and it recapture the almost abstract quality of dance. The soundtrack by Luca D’Alberto enhances the succession of images and recomposes a unique cameo whom the legendary Pina she is.

Resurrection of a Corpse(ja)

One of the two earliest horror films ever made. This film is presumed lost. In this black comedy scene, the bottom falls out of a coffin, the corpse tumble out, and is jolted back to life. Short sequences like this, as well as street scenes and dancing geisha girls were the main subjects of early Nippon cinema, pioneered by Shiro Asano and Shibata Tsunekichi from 1897 onwards. In creating dramatic, scenes, film-makers naturally chose the most striking or bizarre. Another undocumented film, recalled by cameraman Shiro Asano.
