Jugni (Firefly) is the beat of the soul, the free-flying spirit. Jugni is Vibhavari (Vibs). Vibs is a music director, working on her first big break in the Hindi film industry. When work and home affairs, with her live-in boyfriend Sid hit a high tide, Vibs hits the road with a glint of hope; to find music. The journey takes her to a village in Punjab in the search of a Bibi Saroop, whose voice holds the promise that Vibs is searching for. But as the twist of fate would have it, Mastana, Bibi's son and a proficient singer himself, is the voice and man who winds his way into Vibs' heart. From here on, Jugni is about striking balances, making tough decisions while trying to soften the blows and dealing with the studied dramatic turns and unpredictabilities of life and finding the place which one can call home; home of the heart, where the firefly is at her brightest.

Two New Yorkers fall in and out of love over the course of five years. Written by Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown, the play is now produced in an entirely new and innovative way. It is the musical’s unconventional structure that is allowing this brand-new, highly innovative form of streamed theatre to be created. Jamie tells his story chronologically from their love-at-first-site meeting, whilst Cath tells her story in reverse, from the end of their turbulent relationship to the start. This means the two characters do not directly interact except for one song in the middle of the show when their timelines intersect.

The original Czech musical based on Alexandre Dumas' novel was followed by composer Karel Svoboda, Zdeněk Borovec, and Richard Hes, who built on the success of their previous musical, Dracula. The musical Monte Cristo was also performed at the Prague Congress Center and achieved an impressive 444 performances between December 13, 2000, and December 21, 2002, when the final performance took place. The show was seen by 600,000 viewers during that time. Thanks to the Czech Television recording, you too can be there. The musical took almost two years to create, and composer Karel Svoboda once again proved that he is one of our best musical creators today, with a tremendous sense of musicality. He relied on the excellent work of lyricist, librettist, and co-creator of the theme and script, the late master of words Zdeněk Borovec. Richard Hes was the co-creator of the theme and script and, most importantly, the choreographer.
