The link between body and mind is portrayed in the context of materialism; the importance of physical objects to express personal identity in the tangible world. Four categories are shown in the full installation that supported this film; everyday objects, clothing, makeup, and creations in the form of visual art. These form the pillars of self-expression, through which the soul can be made visible. This experimental film shows the union of the mind built from complex identity structures and memories, with the material extensions that hold this enormous value, becoming important to an individual's personal existence. Inspirations from several film and photo works, notably "All About Lily Chou-Chou" (Iwai), "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (Sharman) and Ana Mendieta are incorporated throughout the video and accompanying photo installation.

It's a part of the commercial port that's mainly accessible via an architecturally unusual footbridge that limits access. Máquinas de Palabras is a performance created in March 2023 in Mexico City, and is the result of a collaboration between Labo K (Rennes-based film laboratory) and LEC (Laboratorio de Cine Experimental) in Mexico City. "From the deliberate use of found images to films that make uncompromising use of raw material, the camera and the plants will take our eyes... Pupils will certainly be illuminated by the projector... How can moving images stay in our heads?"

12 years ago, Rolf suffered a violent accident that caused him severe amnesia. During his long rehabilitation, Rolf had to rebuild his identity from scratch and, while doing so, he invented a flying machine that would give him the freedom of a bird. In a very intimate following of a four year period we discover Rolf´s way of perceiving the world and the contradictions of a character who suffers at discovering that he has fathered two girls and that he has to make up his mind either at becoming an adult or persuing his life long dream of the flying machine.
