0.0Pampa in Patagonia. June 1982. A chance encounter between a mute Argentine man who isn't mute, a lying Chilean woman who tells the truth, and some terrifying but actually scared shitless English soldiers gives rise to a dramatic comedy that summarizes three opportunities—the same opportunities that Argentina, Chile, and England failed to take in June 1982.
0.0While the Bolivian flag is raised by military hands on a pontoon of the Bolivian Naval Force, a civilian swimmer is ritually prepared to enter the waters of Lake Titicaca naked to cross them towards the Island of the Sun. This short film is the record of a poetic act that connects a deep wound Bolivia faces due to its denial of access to the sea with a war conflict still vivid in the memories of Argentines.

0.0Ángela Ferrer lost her grandson during the Falklands War. A year has passed since the end of the war, and Ángela has not resigned herself to accepting her grandson's death, much less to not being able to visit his grave and pay him the tribute she considers more than deserved. Today, Ángela searches the cemetery for an abandoned grave that could serve as a space to visit her grandson. Finally, she decides on one that shows signs of neglect. She refurbishes it and leaves behind a small painting she made, in which we see a sailboat sailing across the sea. These visits take place weekly, while Ángela continues her daily routine, until one day they are suddenly interrupted.
In 2011, Tanya Lim committed suicide. Her brother Eric wanted to use the wedding funds she left behind to create a film — one that would ultimately be born from and fight against self-destruction.
6.0All that is missing is one last signature and everyone wants to get this meeting over as quickly as possible - the mother, the new parents, the woman from the adoption office. But there is one unknown factor, and that's Mirko, the father of the baby who has never seen his child.
6.0José is a boy who is living on the periphery of a true perception of reality after the death of his mother a few months ago. Meanwhile his father reminds him of his duties and obligations to help keeping the household economy and Sofia, a young girl distracts him with her invitations.
3.0Munted is an unusual, multi-award winning, short film about an accusation of pedophilia and its terrible consequences. Set in 1961 in a remote rural community, it tells the story of a ten-year old girl and her friendship with a brain damaged artist. Told through erosions between film and drawing the film is a lyrical and brutal account of the cost of rumour and prejudice.
10.0The Kurdish Iraqi poet and actor Zeravan Khalil travels with his dog through an Alpine gorge after fleeing from IS war and genocide. As he remembers the abomination, he writes a poem with the title “You drive me mad” in Kurmanji Kurdish. In his home country, Yazidic Kurds are forbidden to work in his profession. Then he eats his apple and wanders through Europe’s middle with more hope.
5.5Haunted by flooding memories of their parents' verbal abuse, an insecure person decides to stop reflecting and start living the life they never knew they could have.
6.4An anti-war film about the ability of individuals to prevent war.
6.5According to Peter Brook, all that is needed for an act of theatre to be engaged is for a man to walk across an empty space whilst someone else is watching him. Thus, an empty space becomes a bare stage. However, this raises countless questions about the relationship between reality, everyday presence and role-playing, something experimental filmmakers coming from the 1970s world of theatre dealt with in detail. Tibor Hajas explored the topic in a short experimental film made at BBS.
