Over the Limit (2010) was a PPV presented by Axe Hair, which took place on May 23, 2010 at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. It was the first event promoted under the Over the Limit name. In the main event from the Raw brand, John Cena faced Batista for the WWE Championship, while The Big Show versus World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger was the main event from the SmackDown brand. Matches on the undercard included Randy Orton against Edge, CM Punk facing Rey Mysterio, and Drew McIntyre defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston. Other championships defended at the event were the WWE Divas Championship and the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship. The event drew 197,000 pay-per-view buys, and was attended live by 11,000 people. Five wrestlers sustained legitimate injuries during the course of the show.

WWE Bragging Rights 2009(en)

Bragging Rights (2009) was a PPV presented by THQ's WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010. It took place on October 25, 2009 at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was the first Bragging Rights event. A Bragging Rights trophy was awarded to the show that won the most matches. Matches included Raw's US Champion The Miz versus SmackDown's IC Champion John Morrison, SmackDown's team of Michelle, Beth and Natalya versus Raw's team of Melina, Kelly and Gail, and Raw's team of Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston and Mark Henry versus SmackDown's team of Jericho, Kane, R-Truth, Matt Hardy, Finlay, Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith. The show also contained three world championship matches including the main event where Randy Orton defended against John Cena in an Anything Goes Iron Man match for the WWE Championship, and The Undertaker defended against CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and Batista in a Fatal Four-Way match for the World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE Breaking Point 2009(en)

Breaking Point was a PPV presented by Eidos Interactive's Batman: Arkham Asylum. It took place on September 13, 2009 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The name of the event was voted by fans and was chosen over Submission Sunday, Total Submission, and Submit & Quit. Each main event match was to be contested under submission rules. The main events included CM Punk defending against The Undertaker in a submission match for the World Heavyweight Championship, John Cena challenging Randy Orton in an "I Quit" match for the WWE Championship, and The Legacy versus D-Generation X in a Submissions Count Anywhere match. Other matches featured on the show were Unified WWE Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and The Big Show versus Montel Vontavious Porter and Mark Henry, Kofi Kingston defending the WWE United States Championship against The Miz, Kane facing The Great Khali in a Singapore Cane match and Christian versus William Regal for the ECW Championship.

SummerSlam (2009) was a PPV which took place on August 23, 2009 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and was presented by 7-Eleven. It was the 22nd annual SummerSlam event. The main events of the evening included: CM Punk challenging World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match for the title, John Cena challenging WWE Champion Randy Orton for the title, William Regal challenging ECW Champion Christian for the title, and D-Generation X's Triple H and Shawn Michaels versus The Legacy's Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. Starrcade '92: Battle Bowl II: The Lethal Lottery took place on December 28, 1992 from The Omni in Atlanta, Georgia. The main event was the Battle Bowl Battle Royale for the Battle Bowl Ring. The final match for The King of Cable tournament was also held during this PPV featuring Sting vs Big Van Vader. Slamboree 1993: A Legends' Reunion was the first annual Slamboree professional wrestling pay-per-view produced by WCW. It took place on May 23, 1993 at The Omni in Atlanta, Georgia. A "Legends Ceremony" occurred at the event, and introduced several legends. The WCW Hall of Fame induction ceremony also occurred, and Lou Thesz, Mr. Wrestling II, Verne Gagne, and Eddie Graham were the inductees. The PPV also saw the reformation of the Four Horsemen, now consisting of Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, and new member Paul Roma. The main event was Big Van Vader defending the WCW World Heavyweight Title against Davey Boy Smith. Barry Windham defended the NWA World Heavyweight Title against Arn Anderson and The Hollywood Blondes defended the NWA & WCW World Tag Team Championships against Dos Hombres in a steel cage match.

WCW Beach Blast 1993(en)

Beach Blast 1993 took place on July 18, 1993 and emanated from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi. The main event was Sting & Davey Boy Smith versus Sid Vicious & Big Van Vader. Barry Windham defended the NWA World Heavyweight Championship against Rick Flair and a 30 minute Iron Man Challenge was held between Rick Rude and Dustin Rhodes for the vacant WCW United States Championship belt. Two other title matches took place as well with The Hollywood Blondes defended the WCW World Tag Team Championships against Paul Roma & Arn Anderson and Paul Orndorff defending the WCW World TV Championship against Ron Simmons.

The War to Settle The Score was a professional wrestling event (with only the last match was shown on MTV) produced by the World Wrestling Federation. It took place at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York on February 18, 1985. The main event featured Hulk Hogan defending the WWF Championship against Roddy Piper. Hogan retained the title after Piper got disqualified in the only match of the event that was shown on MTV.

The Brawl to End It All was a professional wrestling event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and broadcast live on MTV. It took place at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York on July 23, 1984. The show was a major event in the Rock 'n' Wrestling Connection in the mid-1980s WWF. The main event featured The Fabulous Moolah defending the WWF Women's Championship against Wendi Richter. Richter pinned Moolah to win the Women's Championship. It was the only match of the event that was shown on national television. The entire event was recorded and shown on the Madison Square Garden network however.

No Way Out (2000) was a PPV which took place on February 27, 2000 at the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut. It was presented by PhoneFree.com. It was the first event produced under the No Way Out name, although it was preceded in 1998 by an event named No Way Out of Texas . The main event was a Hell in a Cell match, a match where the ring and ringside area was surrounded by a 20-foot-high roofed steel cell between WWF Champion Triple H and Cactus Jack. The featured bout on the undercard was a singles match for a championship match at WrestleMania 2000 in which The Big Show competed against The Rock. Chris Jericho defended the Intercontinental Championship against Kurt Angle and The New Age Outlaws defended the Tag Team Championships against The Dudley Boyz.
