Based on the multi-award winning film, "The Monster of Phantom Lake: The Musical!" follows guitar-wielding, a-rockin' scientist Professor Jackson, his smitten graduate student and five swell teenagers as they discover the terrifying effects of "Atomic Waste" in the form of a horribly mutated shell-shocked-World-War-II-soldier/lake algae monster! "The Monster of Phantom Lake: The Musical!" was filmed in July of 2016, during the play's world premiere run at the historic Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts in Menomonie, Wisconsin!

The work revolves around four central characters: Othello, a Moorish general in the Venetian army; his new wife, Desdemona; his lieutenant, Cassio; and his trusted ensign, Iago. Because of its varied and current themes of racism, love, jealousy and betrayal, Othello is still often performed in professional and community theaters alike and has been the basis for numerous operatic, film and literary adaptations.

In these letters from the front of the leisure society, François Morel as a "melancholy mocker" has fun with often tender humor, sometimes biting, of this irrepressible need to change scenery to finally eye with a weary eye the pyramids and all those centuries that contemplate you while thinking of the evening meal (wine is free and at will) and the friends who have stayed in the country.
