He filmed a nine-part travelogue series for RAI. As he did not record any commentary, he only delivered the negatives to RAI, accompanied by a soundtrack of music and noise. (RAI aired the nine episodes, adding a voice narration. In 2005, the original material was restored, and the commentary added in 1962 removed.)
