As the tale of thrills and suspense between the gloomy and reclusive great detective Akechi Kogorou and the master of disguise and female thief the Black Lizard (who is forever switching between western clothing and kimono) unfolds, it comes to a conclusion different from Mishima Yukio's version. This time it will be in modern Denmark, with everything developed in the form of the ghosts ("black spirits" which cannot pass on) progressing. The tale's theme is basically "revenge", but lurking behind that is the frank love of a man and a woman, parent-child passions, and a futile adolescence passing by. This will be a powerful rock musical unfolding through hard rock music.

The romance of vampire legends has traveled about for hundreds of years, and in 1987 Star Troupe performed this production with Shion Yuu in the pivotal role. This very popular show was a unique theme for Takarazuka-- the first act is on classical and aesthetic beauty, and the second act is a more modern pop style of Count Dracula's love.
