An icon of the 70’s, Robert began his career doing his robot in front of the Hollywood Wax Museum and a few short years later had his own top rated Prime Time CBS Variety show with his beautiful wife Lorene called: “The Shields & Yarnell Show”. And along the way, unbeknownst to him, he created ripples that define an art form to this day. This film may not save the environment, it won’t take on a corrupt corporation nor will it make you write your congress person. What it will do is make you laugh, bring you wonder and joy and introduce you to a man who makes you believe that anything is possible… including (and don’t try this at home!) “Las Calles Hablan is a feature length documentary film about street art in Barcelona. Until now there hasn’t been a definitive film made in Barcelona which explores the history, motivation, politics and the numerous characters involved in the street art scene. The story follows the real life experience of Katrine Knauer as she develops her interest in Barcelona urban art through her photoblogging website called Mapping Barcelona Public Art and an 2012 street art exhibition featuring some of her discovered artists. The film was originally considered as a 5 minute documentary to complement the Las Calles Hablan exhibition but we later realised that a much bigger, more intriguing story needed to be told. The deeper we delved into this vibrant subculture the more we discovered and the more we got hooked.

Eleven to 17-year olds compete to see how many times they can 'get their names up ' in a colorful way - a kind of graffiti cult game which has its own rules and regulations. It's illegal and dangerous-some New Yorkers think it's a kind of ' art others think it's disgusting.
