Based on a Thai legend, it tells the unearthly love story between Mak and his wife Nak who died in childbirth while her husband was at war and nevertheless remained around with her child both as ghosts. When Mak returns home, he finds his wife and child seemingly well.

Chomjan is a prickle-fish vendor who sells her pickled fish using her family's secret recipe in order to support her sister, Methinee, study abroad. Her main helper is Gloy, an orphan who loves her like a sister. When Methinee returns, she brings along a boyfriend who is unaware of her true lifestyle. Ashamed of her life and poverty, Methinee asks Chomjan to lie about her occupation in order to not embarrass Methinee in front of her boyfriend and his family. A request which brings Chomjan a lot of sadness.

They end up staying with Alberto's sister-in-law Marta and her two children. Thanks to them all, Alberto finally manages to be a detective, and he and Max establish their detective agency: Sabuesos.

In order to avoid being engaged to his mom's friend's daughter, Chinapat asks Chinika to marry him for a large sum of money. Will they ever learn to get along?

Life with Derek (en)

Life with Derek is a Canadian television sitcom that aired on Family and VRAK.TV in Canada and on Disney Channel in the United States. The series premiered on Family on September 18, 2005, and ran for four seasons, ending its run on March 25, 2009. The series starred Michael Seater and Ashley Leggat as the two oldest children in a stepfamily. It ended with 70 episodes and one spin-off television film, entitled Vacation with Derek.
