Overview:
The word JIB was originally coined by snowboarders to describe a certain style of riding. Rail grinding, sessioning half pipes, and boosting huge tricks off of jumps were all considered JIBBING. Through time, JIBBING came to be known as trick oriented riding in man made environments. And while trials riders, North Shore riders, and a handful of urban mountain bikers have been JIBBING for years, only recently has this discipline of riding gained enough momentum to finally be given its own name. JIB, the new video from Thor Wixom, is the first video of its kind...and the only video dedicated entirely to capturing the essence of the JIB movement. Ride To The Hills from 2001 is an all-out metal driven freeride assault. It features all the early Canadian freeriders ripping it up on what have now become the standard locations from The Shore to Virgin, Utah. You will get a glimpse of the short lived urban freeride trend and a lot of XC helmets. There are plenty of big Southern Utah hucks long before Rampage was conceived. Darcy Wittenburg of The Collective/Anthill worked on the cinematography and was there ever a film where Sterl wasn’t somehow involved?

The start of a legacy. The first of the New World Disorder series which stopped at the 10th film. The movie was one of only a few documenting the mountain bike disciplines of free riding, trails and downhill. The filming is incredible for the time while the music is hard rock of the late 90's. Added bonuses include the most impressive unicyclist you'll ever have seen and a pair of mountain boardera. Also included is fourwheel mountain biking with Trevair sending it big and Stacy Kohut seding it stylie. The most iconic part of this film is the "Jah Drop" that Josh Bender attempts. The Jah Drop is a 55ft. cliff located in Kamloops, Canada.

Freewheel Burning sizzles with huge road gaps, bad ass bikercross, over the top dirt jumping and silly-fast single track that smokes the competition! freewheel burning is another fantastic entry. street riding makes an appearance. the new hell track is insane. we miss out on the unicycling and the handicap cycling, but its more than made up for by the rest of the film.

Journey to New Zealand, Australia, Whistler, Europe, Alaska, BC and Utah. for me, this is the pinnacle of the disordeer series. the riding is so varied, the music is so appropriate and it amazes me every time i see it. the best moment is the tour de france gap. sadly, he got arrested for it and put in french prison for 2 days! oh well, its an awesome scene!
