The first attempt to translate Wonder Woman to the small screen in 1967. Diana lives with her mother close to a United States Air Force base. Much of the film consists of her mother berating Diana about not having a boyfriend. When her mother leaves the room, Diana changes into her Wonder Woman costume and admires her reflection in a mirror. What she sees is not Diana Prince, but rather a sexy super-heroic figure (played by Linda Harrison) who proceeds to preen and pose as the song "Oh, You Beautiful Doll" plays on the soundtrack.

Mary Ann is the daughter of a washerwoman, who washes for Mrs. Wainwright. Her daughter, Geraldine, decides that she will bring a little sunshine into the lives of the poor and begins with Mary Ann. She invites her to spend the afternoon. First she puts her in a riding habit and makes her ride a horse. Mary Ann stands it as long as she can. Then she rebels and her clothes are changed to a frock and half socks which embarrass her much. She has a horrid time till she sees a man with a hose. She takes it away from him and proceeds to enjoy herself. They all try to get it away from her and everyone is soaked. Mary Ann goes home determined to do without "sunshine."

After they are restored to her, she misses her husband's pocketbook, and thinking the gentleman who bumped into her took it, she gives chase and succeeds in taking a pocketbook away from him. She relates the incident to her husband. He discovers his purse on the dresser. The restoration of the pocketbook to its rightful owner is very amusing.
