
All the films in "Experience the Experimental" program are from the Film-Makers’ Cooperative collection and reflect an overview of filmmakers who broke with the taboos and censorship of the mainstream popular culture of The United States. These short experimental films focus on the cinematic body and embrace an alternative perspective on gender and sexuality. The various techniques include found-footage filmmaking to hand-processed film as well as cut out animation.
