I'm Too Sad to Tell You(en)

This short film is part of a mixed media artwork of the same name, which also included postcards of Ader crying, sent to friends of his, with the title of the work as a caption. The film was initially ten minutes long, and included Ader rubbing his eyes to produce the tears, but was cut down to three and a half minutes. This shorter version captures Ader at his most anguished. His face is framed closely. There is no introduction or conclusion, no reason given and no relief from the anguish that is presented.

El Almafuerte(es)

The youngsters housed in the "Almafuerte" Maximum Security Juvenile Institute have their first approach to audiovisual recording. A film and documentary video workshop serves as an excuse for them to make a short film inside the prison. The camera is a rabid toy that generates fascination in them and rescues a sheltered, innocent smile that seemed forgotten under the shadows. While inside libertarian cries bounce against the walls, outside sounds fanfares of an iron fist.

She was central to the American Dada movement and was the last surviving member of this group. In this program she recalls her friends Man Ray, Picabia and others, and her ex-husband Marcel Duchamp. She died in 1999 at 105 years of age.

Ibrahim Sultani is a 22-year-old architecture major who has a hobby of painting portraits on banknotes. On them, he portrays Lebanese icons from the fields of music, cinema, sports, media, fashion, and many more due to the common appreciation and love that Lebanese citizens share for them. Due to the economic crisis that exists within the country, he hopes his work will give the currency back some of its lost value, at least metaphorically.

Documentary filmmaker Patricio González Colville searches for the ancestral rites that characterize the relationship between God and man from the countryside. A strange mix of faith, devotion, pagan festival, wine, submission, violence and sorcery make up these rites whose origin has been forgotten but tradition does not allow losing. Cultural mixes over time have given rise to the peculiar current peasant religion. The documentalist's camera allows the country man to express his personal experiences, beliefs and divergences with divinity in his simple language. Through five chapters, the documentary searches the Maule Region for the descendants of Adam, expelled from Paradise to cultivate the land. What kind of faith does this man have left and how does he manifest it? The documentary presents his perspective on this controversial issue.
