This deeply affecting documentary follows a small number of Israelis and Gazans through the most dramatic and tragic year of their lives. Using personal and previously unseen footage, it tells the story of the war in Gaza and the October 7 attacks through deeply emotional stories from both sides of the conflict. In Gaza, the film follows three individuals from reaction to the October 7th attacks to the start of the bombing by the Israeli military and to the loss of family members that all three suffer. In Israel, we witness footage of the Israeli characters, as they and their family members are attacked by Hamas on October 7th and then follow their stories through the year.

She tries to forget him and concentrate on the urban guerrilla movements of Dhaka with Altaf Mahmud, Shahadat, Mrs Khan and many more. But when spies and the razakars inform them, most of their people get arrested and Bilkis has to run for her life, towards her village.

The forest in Bykovnia near Kyiv hides the remains of more than 30,000 NKVD victims, including several thousand Poles. In 2006, a team of Polish archeologists, with the cooperation of the Ukrainian side, conducted exhumation work there, which confirmed that Poles were buried in the cemetery. At the time, two people whose fathers are believed to be buried there also came to the Bykovsky forest. The film tells the story of the history of the place, the local residents' perception of it, and the search for the fathers' graves.

On the basis of "Notes from the escape of Edmund K. (policeman)" and archival photos, the director reconstructed the "raid" in the Kielce-Katyn area in September 1939. The family of a policeman, along with a column of fugitives, loses their luggage, hopes and illusions along the way.

Katyń. The name of this town was banned during the communist era in Poland. It appeared as an entry in only one edition of the PWN encyclopedia from 1958, where the Germans were blamed for the crimes. When, in 1989, one of the periodicals placed this word on the cover of its April issue in the context of National Remembrance Month, the publication provoked deep and loud outrage from Wiesław Górnicki, a publicist and official advisor to General Wojciech Jaruzelski. The name Katyń had been ruthlessly and consistently erased from the national memory.

In 1979 José Efraín Ríos Montt became a reborn Christian. He was offering a sermon when a group of soldiers burst into his Christian school, and asked him to lead a military coup in 1982. Francisco Chavez Raymundo and his sister were small children when Rios' political actions annihilated their community. In March, 2013 the lives of Francisco Chavez and Rios Montt converge in the same space. Rios is called upon to testify before Guatemalan justice and is confronted by a group of Mayan Ixiles, orphans and widows of the war, Francisco is one of them.

In the wake of World War II, most Germans have been raised with the mistaken belief that the Holocaust had been planned and executed by just a tiny minority of Nazis, namely, the Gestapo and the SS. The sad truth, however, is that Hitler's philosophy of ethnic cleansing, as the Fuhrer so brazenly espoused in his frightening manifesto, "Mein Kampf," had been enthusiastically embraced not only by the entire military but also by most of the civilian population. The long-suppressed proof of their widespread collaboration and participation was unveiled in The Wehrmacht Exhibition, a damning collection of photographs and film footage that toured Deutschland between 1999 and 2004. The show shook the country to its core because it forced folks to face up to the fact that it took much more than a madman and his henchmen to wipe out six million.
