Novruzali brings a gift from the village to the Khan as usual. The Khan writes a letter to his friend living in Yerevan, promising to come there with his wife and to tidy and heat the house where they will stay. He sends Novruzali to the post office to put the letter in the mailbox. And instructs him not to give it to anyone. Novruzali, who does not know what mail is, puts a letter in the mailbox for the first time in his life. Not knowing the rules, he waits near the mailbox. When the postal worker takes the letters from the mailbox, Novruzali thinks he is a thief and confronts him.

Sixty-year old Jindřich is waiting for a heart transplant. His wife, in an effort to protect him from a heart attack, has moved with him and their teenage daughter to their cottage in the countryside, so that he would have an absolutely peaceful life. But their son David comes for a holiday and he is not alone. He would like to discuss his life situation with his father but his mother intervenes as she is afraid that it would upset his father. Is, however, the worry about his health the real reason why she is making her children lie to their father?

Due to unpleasant situations in the society and economy, a newly-graduated freelance actress Neen finds it difficult to seek a job. Not fitting the beauty standards, her physical appearance even makes things worse by causing her feelings of inadequacy and preventing her from pursuing her dreams. She then decides to return to her hometown after a long time in hopes of taking a break from all the physical and mental exhaustion. Neen lives with her grandma, her one and only family member who has been taking care of their house. She also meets her ex from high school Yitho with only a comfortable friendship remaining between the two of them. After returning to the place she grew up in, she starts asking herself once again if this return to the hometown actually makes her happy. She wants to leave this place but, at the same time, has not been able to heal herself yet. Because of that, she is confused and explodes in anger towards her beloved ones.
