In the second part, the whale is butchered at a whaling station. A lady with a parasol looks on, while in the background are the sailing ships used to hunt whales. These are excerpts from a 1909 film called "La Pêche à Baleine dans les mers du Sud" made by Jean Nédelec and cut down in the 1920's for the Pathé Baby home movie projector.

While best known for his swordplay, Chiezo really did not enjoy the action, but was able to use his menacing presence to stare down his adversaries. Although Kataoka Chiezo passed away in 1983 at the age of 79, he still has many fans today. This film shows him at his best.

FFF - Ludwig van Beethoven instigated a musical revolution of such historical proportions that we still know his name today. And yet the man bearing that name was visited by misfortune of all kinds: lost love, loneliness, hearing loss... Even so, he was able to produce his Ninth Symphony featuring the singing of "Ode to Joy." But how? Silk Road - From west to east, from east to west, the Silk Road, a trade route carrying culture, civilization, and people, connected Western Europe with Asia over land and sea. A bandit preying on merchants traveling the route obtains a blue diamond. However, it is in fact the lost eye of the Indian goddess Sita. The jewel has changed hands on countless occasions, at times bringing good fortune to its owner, at other times tragic doom. Having roamed the Silk Road since the long distant past, the Eye of Sita invites the bandit on a journey through the copious memories dwelling behind its dazzling facets.

This story, a foundational work of shojo manga that continues to be loved by many people across ages and borders, is set in France during the raging revolution, depicting the forbidden love of two couples. The Takarazuka Revue has staged various versions of The Rose of Versailles over the years. In this version that focuses on Fersen, we present the splendid world of The Rose of Versailles in a glorious celebration of its fiftieth anniversary.

Set against the background of the Spanish Civil War, the plot centers on socialist playwright Katherine McGregor and renowned photographer Georges Malraux, a Polish Jew who fled his homeland for Paris. This is the story of how Bill grew as a proper gentleman, and the romantic comedy masterpiece between him and his lover, Sally. In this Takarazuka performance, Amami Yuuki who plays character Bill, and together with Kano Maria who plays as Sally, we will present to you this heartful musical that is filled with famous songs.
